Onsite Fair Volunteer

Job Summary:                
Artrooms Fair is looking for motivated individuals to join our onsite volunteer team for the duration of the fair (6 days). Volunteers work closely with our artists, operation team and visitors.
The role is varied and exciting, providing valuable experience for anyone interested in events and contemporary art. Activities include hosting and event support, liaising with artists, data capture and sales support.
The shifts duration ranges from 3 to 5 hours and you must be available in the days between 10th January and 14th January 2019.

Job Vacancies:

Uniform:
White shirt, black trousers and shoes

Fair Production Assistant Internship

Job Summary:
ARTROOMS is seeking an enthusiastic and committed individual to assist with all aspects of the delivery of our event production activity.
Working in the ARTROOMS Fair the Production Assistant will work as an integral member of the fair’s small production team reporting directly to the Vice President/Show Director.  The successful candidate will provide key administrative support and production assistance.  This will involve liaising with national and International artists, galleries, national art institutions, VIP guests and public. In addition to that, there will be an array of creative people to assist in the production, growth and marketing of the art event.  This is an exciting opportunity for a creative and innovative individual looking to work in all aspects of the show, from start to finish.

Hours:
8 hours per day (10 am – 6 pm)

Internship period:
Jan 2nd 2018 – Jan. 22nd 2018

Salary:
This is a full time internship position. Travel and food costs are not covered

The Artist liaison role is one of the key roles in ensuring the fair runs smoothly and that artists enjoy a well organised, stress art fair. The role relies on an attention to detail and an empathy with the travel needs of the artist.
