She resumed photography five years ago when she started working with A.Voglino on the photobook website Hfdistirbuzione.
Sara currently lives and works in Scotland.
For various reasons, I arrived in Scotland last year. In order to record my new adventure I took film and Polaroid photos.
The different landscapes inspired me to enhance the photos with embroidery.
The embroidery represents something missing - to recreate a dream atmosphere where the landscape is tactile.
In a way, the project is me: the photos represent my daydreaming and the embroidery is my grounded, down-to- earth self.
During the exhibition, I will be creating some new pieces with embroidery to show how I produce my work.
