After discovering the wonders of Printmaking at college where she spend a week working with Stanley Jones MBE at the Curwen Print Study Centre, Suzann Kundi graduated with a BA (HONS) in Fine Art Printmaking at Anglia Ruskin University in 2006.
She continued the development of her practice at the Royal College of Art, achieving a MA in Printmaking and then in a second MA in Art and Design Education at the Institute of Education, London.
Residing in the capital, Kundi is currently Head of Screen Printing at Kew Art Studios and Head of Art at Woking High School.
A visiting lecturer at the University of Portsmouth, Central St Martins and Artesis Plantijn Antwerp University in Belgium, she is always looking for opportunities within other institutions to inspire the next generation of artists and educators.
With artwork in a constant state of flux, Suzann Kundi uses sculpture, prints, film and photography to manipulate objects and the world around her to reflect the complex issues of developing sexuality, illness and disability. Taking her past experiences and future hopes, Kundi invites her audience to question their pre-conceived beliefs.
