Artist statement

I graduated from Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design in the summer of 2013 with a First Class Honours Degree.
I work as a freelance Ceramic Designer from my studio in South East London.
I believe branding is essential to create a unique image to stand out from the crow. I use my personal experiences to produce work with character and playful messages. I am especially interested in bringing together traditional imagery and narrative to my work. I specialize in ceramics with great emphasis in textures and colors. My pieces are decorative on its own with a subtle function.

I focus in quality and emphasis in details to create¬¬¬ unique pieces, which are central to my design.
I feel that the products currently in offer lack individuality, and therefore my pieces are individually handcrafted; there is not one of the same. I believe that the time is now to change our manufacturing ways, to produce fewer items per batch, to individualize our product through creative design and personal narratives.
