Contemporary Arts Trust Prize

Contemporary Arts Trust was formed as the Arts Club Charitable Trust in 1999 and encourages emerging artists in all disciplines of the arts exhibiting and studying in the UK. The Trust is proud to be giving a prize at Artrooms Fair London 2019. This will be judged by the trustees, including Professor Andrew Stahl, Professor of Fine Art at the Slade School of Fine Art; Mychael Barratt PRE, President of the Royal Society of Painter-Printmakers; and Peter Nahum, ex-Director of 19th and 20th century art at Sotheby’s and on the Antique Road Show for 21 years. The prize of £1,000 will be awarded to the artist judged to excel most, taking into account their emerging status in the art world.
